I noticed two courting minnows,
While gazing into a brooke.
They seemed to be so fond of each other,
That I could not help but look.
Upstream they would go together
And together they would turn
To go downstream side by side
As I watched them to learn.
They played together so beautifully
That I could not help but smile,
Bumping into each other gleefully
Every once in a while.
I thought they were maybe,
In all actuallity, making love,
That they were dancing in clouds,
In the great sky above.
But then they parted from each other,
And weren't like before.
Sadly I realized they were not,
In love, anymore.
