The Love in Me

Oh what sorrow,
What awful defeat.
What desire I have,
To sleep in the street.
What utter dismay,
What unspeakable pain,
The need to scream,
Into the pouring rain.
Oh, the horror,
The ironic feel,
The knowledge of it,
Being so real.
Oh, the weight,
The Love in me,
The silent Love,
No one can see.
