He told me that he loved me.
He said his heart would burst.
My eyes watched him carefully,
My mind thinking the worst.

Yes, he said that he loved me.
Told me his heart was mine.
I could not help but believe,
I have loved him as a shrine.

So I told him that I loved him,
Said my soul was his to keep.
For my heart so pitter-patters,
When I see him in my sleep.
