The Wall

And the wall came tumbling down,
Cracking, breaking, and splintering away,
Bleeding all over the ground.
And she sang.

And the sun came streaming through,
Like the early morning rays of light
Piercing through the skeleton of a tree.
And she danced.

And her earth shook with the fear,
The unknowing of what was there,
Beyond those tall stone walls,
And she cried.

But then it happened with a crash;
With a marvelous, aching thunder,
The walls collapsed all around her...
And she flew.
